I've been a Boise maternity photographer since 2014. I create timeless, beautiful maternity photos designed to feel effortless and elevated all at once.
As a mother of four myself, I understand how complex pregnancy truly is — the days and weeks feel endless until they're suddenly over, and you're left wishing you'd stopped to remember them a little bit more. My job is to make sure that you celebrate this wonderful, challenging, fleeting season in the way it truly deserves to be celebrated.
I don't need you to feel photogenic or to know how to pose. I don't need your other children to behave or your husband to pose uncomfortably. I certainly don't need you to feel like a glowing goddess (though if you do, good for you!). All I need is for you to show up ready to let me capture the magic you've already created.
My job is to turn that magic into artwork, with zero stress for you. From wardrobe to locations and a completely relaxed session, I've created a seamless experience for expectant mothers that results in images you'll treasure for the rest of your life — when the baby you're carrying now is raising babies of their own.

I've been photographing mothers since 2014, and I've been a mother even longer — I know firsthand the honor and overwhelm of growing a whole new human, and realizing that holding onto moments is much like trying to hold onto sand.
Photographs are the closest thing any parent can get to going back in time. Of course we'll never get to actually relive these moments, but photos allow us to revisit the memories — and preserve them for decades to come.
When I photograph mothers, I'm photographing love. I'm documenting the building of your legacy. I'm celebrating the humans who are your whole world. And I'm making sure these memories don't slip through your fingers, so you can come back to them now and always — even when the nest has been empty longer than it was ever full.

the maternity photo process
An effortless experience to celebrate a season worth remembering.
1. booking
Send me an inquiry, and I'll reply quickly with my detailed information and answers to your questions. Booking is easy and fully online. You'll also receive a questionnaire so that I can get to know your family, plus a detailed session guide to walk you through each step of this process.
2. styling & planning
All full sessions include my styling and planning direction, plus access to my incredible client wardrobe — stocked with dozens of dresses that flatter real bodies in every stage of motherhood and photograph beautifully. Most clients choose an in-person planning appointment to try on pieces and go over location, timing, and other details. You'll save hours of shopping and guesswork, and it's also a chance to get comfortable and connected before newborn photos.
3. session day
My client guide will fully prepare you for the session itself, including what to bring and how to have a great time. My clients are always surprised by how relaxed and enjoyable their session feels — and how beautiful they truly look in their photos! My sessions are unhurried, easy, and designed to celebrate this incredible stage in your life. This will be easier than you expect, promise!
4. after your session
My galleries are delivered in 4-6 weeks. You'll receive your images via private online gallery, where you can download, share, and shop with your included print credit. I'm always available to assist my clients in choosing artwork for their walls. Your photos aren't created to live on your hard drive, but to be enjoyed every single day!

A maternity session with me is designed to feel like an evening with your favorite people — relaxed, unhurried, and genuinely enjoyable. From your first inquiry to your final gallery delivery, every detail is handled. So far from the experience you may be used to, this is the better way to do maternity photos.

Some of my families already know where they want their photos taken and how they want them to feel. Others want all of the input they can possibly get. Wherever you fall, I am here to collaborate with you to ensure that your photos genuinely reflect your family and make you so excited to print them and share them and show them off.

I offer a very large collection of beautiful wardrobe items for women, babies, and children up to around age 7. I have dozens of dresses designed to flatter real women in all stages of motherhood, and I save my clients hundreds of dollars and hours of stress shopping. Whether you borrow from my collection or wear your own clothing, I will help you put together a wonderful set of outfits for your family that will greatly enhance your final images.
If you've ever looked into hiring a photographer before, you'll quickly realize that we all have different ways of structuring our pricing. Personally, I believe in including high resolution, fully edited and retouched images with every session. There are zero hidden costs in my offerings — ever.

Signature sessions and collections include a large credit toward prints and other products. It's so important to me that your memories don't sit on a hard drive and that you are able to view your photos on a daily basis - they're created to bring light and joy and love to your life, and remind you why family is so wildly wonderful! My prints and products are heirloom quality and you can shop right from your private online gallery.

FAqs
What if I feel like a whale?
Honestly, most of us feel out of sorts while growing a baby, no matter how amazing we know the work really is. It's okay to feel like a stranger in your own body — I promise you won't look like one. Expectant mothers are gorgeous and it's an honor to show every single one I photograph how amazing she truly is!
should these include the whole family?
This is completely up to you! Most of my clients choose to include the whole family in both maternity photos and newborn photos. But maternity photos are also a wonderful time for moms to treat themselves without worrying about everyone else. There is no right or wrong option, and I'm here to discuss options with you and make sure that we plan the session that's perfect for you!
how far along should I be for photos?
Most maternity sessions should take place between 28-36 weeks, when your bump is rounded out but you're still comfortable and mobile. That being said, everyone is different, and there is no bad time for maternity photos as long as you're still pregnant!
what's included in my session fee?
The cost of the session covers everything you need for a seamless experience, including fully retouched high resolution images. From one busy parent to another, this process is designed to be as simple as possible. You can rest assured that there are no hidden or unexpected costs, ever.
