“I would say I went in to our family shoot with high expectations. I wanted photos that didn’t seem overly posed. That had a beautiful quality to where you would want to hang it on your wall even if you didn’t know the family in it. I had loved the photos I had seen of Hannah’s that used the natural landscape to frame the shot, and almost seemed like a special moment frozen in time.

“Hannah took our son’s six month pictures and also captured some amazing family pictures for us last week while we were visiting San Diego. First off, I’d like to say how she made taking photos so easy and fun for our family. She was completely laid back, professional and patient with us the whole time, during feedings/outfit changes and location changes. From the start Hannah was easy to communicate with, suggested outfit ideas, and we received our pictures so quick! Secondly, the pictures are AMAZING. “Hannah and her husband (and second shooter) Justin were a dream come true before and during our wedding this past November. My husband and I live almost two hours away from our wedding venue, and Hannah was more than accommodating with our busy schedules, crazy lives and tricky distance. They went above and beyond, scouting locations for our engagement and wedding photos, helped me with our day of timeline, gave advice about what to wear in photos, and just generally made the whole wedding planning process so much easier! I found Hannah’s work on Instagram, of all places, and quickly became obsessed with her dreamy aesthetic. I didn’t think our (somewhat tight) budget would allow us to afford her gorgeous work, but she quoted us an incredibly reasonable amount and was truly such a joy to work with! Our initial meeting was over a beer at one of my favorite breweries, and it felt more like getting together with a sweet friend than a meeting a wedding vendor for the first time. Hannah is so down to earth and nice that taking engagement photos and wedding photos was a breeze, not intimidating at all. And trust me when I say neither my husband nor I are comfortable in front of a camera, so it is a small miracle that our photos turned out as beautifully as they did. For that, we have to give all the credit to Hannah, who really made us feel so comfortable. I am so obsessed with how beautifully our photos turned out, and we are so grateful to Hannah for all of the hard work she put in to get our photos to us in less than a month! I was expecting it to take much longer than that, so it was a pleasant surprise to get our photos so quickly. I could not recommend Hannah Mann Photography more. I plan on calling her for anniversary photos, pregnancy photos, newborn photos, and any/no reason photos as soon as possible. We are from out of town and she was extremely flexible with arranging an initial meeting and accommodating to plan things over the phone and email. She offered some wonderful ideas for possible photography locations, while remaining open to any ideas or suggestions we had considered. When it came to the wedding day, it was clear she had thoroughly researched the shot locations; she knew where she could capture some truly breathtaking photos and where the light would be just right at that particular time of day.

“Finding a great photographer for a destination wedding is a hard task. I did a lot of research when I came across Hannah Mann photography. What first captured my attention was her very soft and glowing photographs in her portfolio. There was a “fairy-tale” quality to each picture that made you think they came straight out of a romantic film. I contacted her right away and we arranged an over-the-phone interview (as I am from Nebraska and could not stop by for a face-to-face interview). She was so very friendly over the phone and made me feel instantly comfortable. She gathered very detailed information from us to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. My husband and I have only done 2 photo shoots in our lives (senior photos and our engagement session). Needless to say we were a little nervous and are not very good when it comes to poses and knowing what we should be doing! During the photo shoot, Hannah gave us great direction and made us feel comfortable. She and her husband were very professional and accommodating during our day. They helped to guide us as to which groups to photograph and helped keep us on time (we did not have a wedding planner at our side so that was a very BIG help!). They were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond their duties. My family and friends were very impressed with the final results, and we couldn’t be happier. I want to print every single picture that her and her husband took! Hannah has an incredible eye for unique and one-of-a-kind photography. We were at a hotel and I wanted a lot of scenic/nature backdrops , and you can’t even tell there were buildings around us. She finds the beauty in every type of scenery! I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Hannah. We have already talked to Hannah about coming back next year for an anniversary session. If I lived closer, we would use her for all of our photography needs!! ”
