In 2010 I said "I do" to the guy who had stolen my heart, and we threw a pretty little wedding to celebrate. And then I promptly forgot most of it.
In all seriousness, a wedding day is simultaneously the most memorable and difficult to remember day of your life. A week later or decades later, that day is a blur of crazy good feelings and there's just no way to memorize all of the joy and adrenaline.
Thankfully, photos get us as close to that day as we can get without a magic 'rewind' button. They preserve memories for us, create them for our children, and bring the feelings of that day right back to mind. After your event is over, the food is eaten, the flowers wilt, and the guests go home - but your photos last forever. Do them right.
