There’s something truly special about welcoming a baby during the holiday season. The house is already full of warmth and wonder — twinkling lights, soft music, the scent of pine and cinnamon — and adding a newborn to that mix? Pure magic.
In-home newborn sessions at Christmastime are some of my absolute favorites. There’s no need to pack up and leave the house, which is a gift in itself when you’ve just had a baby. Instead, I come to you — into the space where your family is settling in, celebrating, and creating new memories together.
We’ll capture the quiet coziness: baby snuggled up by the tree, rocking in your arms beside the fireplace, siblings in their pajamas showing off their new baby brother or sister. These sessions are never rushed. They flow gently, with breaks for feeding, changing, or just soaking in the moment.
What I love most is how personal these sessions feel. Your home, decorated for the season, tells part of your story. Maybe it’s baby’s first stocking hanging on the mantel, or the way your older kids made a special ornament just for their new sibling. These little touches turn beautiful images into lasting heirlooms.
