With the sun setting later, there’s more flexibility for scheduling—especially helpful if you’re juggling work, family, or simply the unpredictability of pregnancy energy levels. Golden hour during summer is especially stunning, wrapping you in soft, flattering light that makes every image feel magical.
Summertime also offers endless options for locations. Open fields, shady groves, riversides, or mountain trails—all feel alive with color and warmth this time of year. Whether you prefer wide-open skies or quiet, tucked-away spots, summer landscapes make the perfect canvas for celebrating motherhood.
Wardrobe choices shine in summer, too. Flowing dresses in light fabrics keep you cool while creating movement in your photos. And while the heat is part of summer, it’s nothing we can’t work around. Planning sessions for early morning or late evening ensures cooler temperatures and the best possible light. I always encourage breaks, water, and a pace that feels comfortable for you.
