Photographing multiple generations is such a wonderful reminder to me that raising a family is about so much more than just now. Of course all we have is this moment, this day, and I am practicing thankfulness for the things in front of me even when I feel like I’m in the trenches of motherhood. But raising a family is about building a legacy – shaping little humans into quality adult humans, building character, teaching integrity. While all we have is now, we work for the future, knowing that all we give each and every exhausting day will have an impact generations deep.
