Those last few weeks before life is changed forever, before your needs become always second, your decisions always made around another, your body always tired and your heart always full. In marriage there is sacrifice, but so much give and take, so much strength drawn from the other. In parenthood, there is so much give, and give, and give again when you have nothing left to give. And somehow, that state is one of the most fulfilling places to live, as we learn to love truly unconditionally.
