Adelaide has been looking forward to the “funnest, spookiest night of the year!” for so long and this morning you’d think from her level of excitement that it was Christmas. We kept it low key and just went trick-or-treat-ing for a bit in a neighborhood nearby, but it was even more fun than I expected. The kids were on their best behavior (always a happy surprise!), thanked each neighbor for the candy and wished them a happy Halloween, walked the entire way with no complaints, and carried their (very heavy) buckets of candy willingly. It was peaceful and fun and easy, which is an all-around win in any parent’s book. 😉
Happy Halloween from Cupid, Captain America, and our little ballerina!
