I am so overdue sharing this sweet newborn session. I first met Ashley and Joe when I photographed their maternity session, which was recently featured on The Fount Collective, alongside the story of their journey through infertility. Of course, knowing how much these two had been through to get their sweet boy here, and how longed for and treasured he is, made this newborn session something extra special for me.
Sometimes we are caught in the struggles, and can’t help but ask, ‘why me?’ – and sometimes we are given such great blessings that we again ask this same question. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to check out Ashley’s wonderful words on The Fount, as she has come through such a difficult (and sadly, well-traveled) road with so much grace and empathy – and then maybe you can see how deeply and incredibly special these photos below really are.
