All you really need for the perfect family session is some pretty light and space for kids to run free. I photographed this family in a simple field near my home, and I am in love with the warm, golden tones of these photos.
I’ve never really been one to wish for children in front of my camera who simply follow my instructions and wait for me to tell them what to do – instead, I aim to capture who my clients really are, how they interact with each other, and what is already happening so beautifully in front of my lens. I love energy and a little wild streak and some unpredictability – exactly the ingredients that tend to create my favorite photos.
Film is all Fuji 400h processed by Photovision Prints , digital is The Archetype Process.
