Parenthood. There’s a reason that this far into human existence, we still all struggle with it and no one has it figured out. If they say they do, they’re lying. If you think you won’t face struggles just like everyone else does, well… you will. Be patient. 🙃

But there’s also a reason we all keep at it, as we have since the very beginning: it’s really GOOD. It might break you a little, but it will rebuild you even better. It requires sacrifice, but no legacy worth leaving is easy anyway. And it’s our chance to participate in a miracle. Humbling – and incredible.
