This post-wedding couples session at Ste. Chapelle winery took place on the most gorgeous summer day. Ste. Chapelle winery is located in Caldwell, ID and has some of the most stunning views in the Treasure Valley, looking south toward the Snake River.
My favorite reason to plan a pre-or-post-wedding couples session is that it takes all pressure off on the wedding day. So often, the wedding day timeline is tight to begin with and the majority of weddings we’ve photographed typically run behind. And while we’re pros at working on a super condensed timeline, we also love having a totally relaxed and fun time with our couples with no time pressure, no wedding day jitters, and the exact lighting and location that work best.
The wedding day doesn’t have to be the only time we use to get portraits, and we can’t recommend enough that couples consider booking a separate day before or after the wedding to get the gorgeous portraits they want to celebrate their marriage!
