Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, so today I’m reminiscing about this late summer outdoor newborn session and long days full of golden light. I do believe that barefoot sessions are as perfect as it gets.

Though traditional newborn photography can be beautiful and I have friends who do it incredibly well, I find that my passion is photographing newborns in their parents’ arms and in their family homes or a favorite outdoor location. Nothing about newborn photography needs to feel posed, formal, or anything but relaxed! I absolutely love showing little ones in the real families that they were born into and will grow up in, including all of the personality, fun, and activity that exists around them.
These days don’t last, and each one that passes is gone for good. I would absolutely love to make some treasured memories with you and your family! My process is always simple, stress-free, and more rewarding than you even imagine right now.
