Boise Foothills Engagement Session | Hannah Mann
As promised, this is part two of an engagement session that I love so much, I simply couldn’t narrow down photos enough for one blog post! Part one involved two different outfits and was shot in a beautiful wooded location, one of my all-time favorite session spots.
For the second half, I took Kristen & Rick to a beautiful hilltop – one that involves a hike too long for most families with little ones, but that is well worth the walk uphill for those who are able. It can get windy at high points in the foothills, which is difficult at the wrong time but is perfect when you want an extra dose of romance.
One of my favorite parts about working with couples is that I have the chance to be creative in a way that family sessions don’t often allow for, since I am focused on wrangling little ones and convincing them that they’re having fun (and really, I love wrangling little ones so that’s never a problem). When it’s just two adults, I can play with motion blur and slow shutter speeds and any idea that comes to mind, which is always so fun!
Film is all Fuji 400h processed by Photovision Prints , digital is The Archetype Process.
Beautiful, timeless wedding and engagement photos are an investment that give back for decades to come. If you love romantic images that will stand the test of time, send me a note and I’ll get back to you within 48 hours. I would love to discuss photographing your special day!
In the meantime, browse my portfolio to see more of what I offer, or read a little about me to learn about why I believe so strongly in what I do. Thanks for stopping by!
